Physical Science is a full-year course that investigates the fundamentals of Physics and Chemistry. Mastering the Periodic Table is an important skill for the chemistry phase in this course. The student will practice identifying the by element symbols, periods, groups, valence electrons, energy levels, and atomic numbers by playing bingo. Class time will include a warm up and a video reviewing the periodic table. Students will communicate using the outschool platform. All communication will take place on the outschool platform. This is a blended learning middle school course that will incorporate bingo to practice concepts. Prerequisite: Students should be familar with the concepts of the periodic table. Class structure: Warm Up: 5 minutes Lecture/Video: The Periodic Table (10 minutes) Bingo (45 minutes)
Learning Goals
Students will be able to practice using the Element's names, symbols, periods, groups, valence electrons, energy levels, and atomic numbers of the periodic table by playing bingo.

A periodic table and bingo card will be provided.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
