Each class, learners will be informally assessed through the use of practice questions. At the end of session #8, there will be a more formal assessment given to test the learner's understanding. This assessment is complete via Quizizz. Students will NOT need to create an account to complete this assessment.Class Experience
US Grade 4 - 6
There are 8 different parts of speech that will be learned and discussed through this 4-week course. In each class, we'll start with a mini-lesson on the topic of the week. Students will be encouraged to take notes and ask questions during this time. After a thorough understanding has been established, examples and practice questions will take place. This portion of the class is very interactive. Learners will be encouraged to take turns practicing with the different examples. At the end of each session, there will be time for questions. During lesson #8, learners will complete a cumulative assessment (via Quizizz) to assess their understanding of all 8 different types of speech. Session 1- Nouns Session 2- Verbs Session 3- Pronouns Session 4- Adjectives Session 5- Adverbs Session 6- Prepositions Session 7- Conjunctions Session 8- Interjections + Assessment (via Quizizz) Please send me a message with any questions or concerns!! :)
