This 6-week course is designed to help 3rd and 4th graders become more confident test-takers. Students will develop important math skills, learn effective test-taking strategies, and enhance their critical thinking abilities. Classes will follow two basic formats (Please see syllabus for lesson details): Game Day Lessons: Students will only need paper and a pencil to track points earned during the game. (Jeopardy-style game) This is a skills review lesson. Practice Test Lessons: Students will be provided a link to a copy of the practice test to complete during the lesson as we discuss questions and strategies.
