Class Experience

Intermediate - Advanced Level
Do you ever find yourself stuck when trying to talk about something that happened in the past? Is it tricky to know when to use pretérito indefinido, pretérito imperfecto, or pretérito perfecto? Don't worry—this class is here to help!

We’ll make it fun and easy, with plenty of laughs, interactive exercises, and real-life examples (and some silly ones too!). Perfect for beginners and intermediate learners who want to share their past adventures in Spanish like a pro.

What We’ll Do:

🔄 Understanding the Tenses: We’ll break down the past tenses and how to use them, with funny examples to make it stick:

Pretérito Indefinido (for completed actions): Ayer, un perro voló sobre mi cabeza ("Yesterday, a dog flew over my head.")
Pretérito Imperfecto (for habits or descriptions in the past): Cuando era niño, comía pizza todos los días… y me convertí en un experto en comer ("When I was a kid, I ate pizza every day… and became a pizza-eating expert.")
Pretérito Perfecto (for actions with relevance to the present): He comido tanta pizza que ahora soy parte de la pizzería ("I’ve eaten so much pizza that I’m practically part of the pizzeria.")
📝 Interactive Practice: You’ll get to create your own funny stories, using the right past tense for each situation. Imagine you were chased by a giant burrito or had a conversation with a talking cactus!

🎤 Storytelling Time: We’ll listen to a wacky short story and figure out which tenses are used. You’ll practice by picking the right tense to complete the story and tell your own zany adventures.

I create a relaxed, friendly space where making mistakes is part of the fun! With lots of support, jokes, and fun examples, you’ll be confidently sharing your past in Spanish in no time.

By the end of this class, you’ll master Spanish past tenses and be able to share your funniest, most bizarre stories with native speakers!
