Intermediate Level
EACH MONTH we will play a DIFFERENT GAME using specific math concepts to pass the levels. EACH WEEK we will play a DIFFERENT LEVEL of that month's game. Learners will practice adding and subtracting whole numbers as they play the math games. >>> Addition (using numbers 0-100) >>> Subtraction (using numbers 0-100) All children need to learn math, but let's face it . . . they'd rather be playing games with their friends. In our Mastering Math: Virtual Gaming Club we encourage them to do both! Our club sessions are highly interactive and very competitive. The learners will have a chance to compete against each other each week and earn rewards as they play. >>> Intermediate Arithmetic ~ Monthly Rotation<<< > > > AUTUMN SESSION - 11 WEEKS < < < Week of September 3rd: 2-Digit by 2-Digit Addition w/ carrying Week of September 10th: 3-Digit by 2-Digit Addition w/ carrying Week of September 17th: 4-Digit by 3-Digit Addition w/carrying No Class - - - Sep. 24th - Sep. 30th - - - Autumn Break No Class - - - Oct. 1st - Oct. 7th - - - Autumn Break Week of October 8th: 2-Digit by 2-Digit Subtraction w/borrowing Week of October 15th: 3-Digit by 2-Digit Subtraction w/borrowing Week of October 22nd: 4-Digit by 3-Digit Subtraction w/borrowing Week of October 29th: 5-Digit by 4-Digit Subtraction w/borrowing Week of November 5th: Mixed Review Week of November 12th: Mixed Review Week of November 19th: Mixed Review Week of November 26th: Mixed Review > > > WINTER SESSION - 11 WEEKS < < < Week of December 3rd: 2-Digit by 2-Digit Addition w/ carrying Week of December 10th: 3-Digit by 2-Digit Addition w/ carrying Week of December 17th: 4-Digit by 3-Digit Addition w/carrying No Class - - - Dec. 24th - Dec. 30th - - - Winter Break No Class - - - Dec. 31st - Jan. 6th - - - Winter Break Week of January 7th: 2-Digit by 2-Digit Subtraction w/borrowing Week of January 14th: 3-Digit by 2-Digit Subtraction w/borrowing Week of January 21st: 4-Digit by 3-Digit Subtraction w/borrowing Week of January 28th: 5-Digit by 4-Digit Subtraction w/borrowing Week of February 4th: Mixed Review Week of February 11th: Mixed Review Week of February 18th: Mixed Review Week of February 25th: Mixed Review > > > SPRING SESSION - 11 WEEKS < < < Week of March 3rd: 2-Digit by 2-Digit Addition w/ carrying Week of March 10th: 3-Digit by 2-Digit Addition w/ carrying Week of March 17th: 4-Digit by 3-Digit Addition w/carrying Week of March 24th: 2-Digit by 2-Digit Subtraction w/borrowing Week of April 1st: 3-Digit by 2-Digit Subtraction w/borrowing Week of April 7th: 4-Digit by 3-Digit Subtraction w/borrowing Week of April 14th: 5-Digit by 4-Digit Subtraction w/borrowing No Class - - - Apr. 21st - Apr. 27th - - - Spring Break No Class - - - Apr. 28th - May 4th - - - Spring Break Week of May 5th: Mixed Review Week of May 12th: Mixed Review Week of May 19th: Mixed Review Week of May 26th: Mixed Review ❗❗ 👑 IMPORTANT: KPE POLICIES 👑 ❗❗ Please click the following link to read our policies regarding: (1) Class Minimum Policy (2) Tardiness Policy (3) Camera Policy (4) Class Recording Policy (5) Makeup Class Policy (6) Transfer Policy (7) Refund Policy https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-muzsZCpFdu4u_I4MSb_yYypftxpDDSmfsMd8x9eZIs/edit?usp=sharing

Parental Guidance
Our review sessions are highly interactive and (sometimes) competitive. Your child will have a chance to compete against the instructor, the game or one other learner (but also work together) each week and earn rewards as they play. Not all students will win. All participants should be able to exhibit good sportsmanship regardless if they win or lose.
In this group the materials will be presented to the learners via an interactive Canva or Google slideshow presentation (shared on the teacher's device, only). We also may utilize Google Docs for the assessments. No external links will be clicked. No additional websites will be visited. No additional logins are necessary for the learners.

Teacher expertise and credentials
My experiences as a home educator and private school teacher have afforded me 10+ years teaching math concepts to students of all ages, especially 1st through 7th graders. Throughout those years I have developed many ways to make math mastery attainable for learners within the different levels. My all-time favorite way is through gaming.
