This one-time math game session is designed to allow (both homeschool and afterschool) learners an opportunity to practice the math concept known as order of operations (or pemdas) while playing an interactive math game.

A: 4 This Virtual Game Room is courtesy of Kingdom Prep Educators. It is a compilation of our Mastering Math games. Currently, learners can choose from a total of more than ten games; however, we are always working on adding more. Comprehending mathematics may not come naturally to every student, but it should, at least, be fun and engaging! When students can’t see how math problems will be relevant to them in life they become less motivated to actually learn the concepts and instead memorize enough just to get a passing grade. 🎯 As an educator my goal is to help students find new and innovative ways to actually enjoy what they are learning in the classroom and retain the mathematical concepts. Math is a very important and fundamental skill that students will need to rely on to be able to apply in their lives. Parental Guidance
Our review sessions are highly interactive and (sometimes) competitive. Your child will have a chance to compete against the instructor, the game or one other learner (but also work together) each week and earn rewards as they play. Not all students will win. All participants should be able to exhibit good sportsmanship regardless if they win or lose.
In this group the materials will be presented to the learners via an interactive Canva or Google slideshow presentation (shared on the teacher's device, only). We also may utilize Google Docs for the assessments. No external links will be clicked. No additional websites will be visited. No additional logins are necessary for the learners.
