Students will understand a fraction is a number on the number line. Students will be able to represent fractions on a number line. Students will recognize and generate simple equivalent fractions. Students will express whole numbers as fractions. Students will compare two fractions with the same numerator or the same denominator. Students will convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions. Students will compare decimals.
