I believe in the transformative power of creativity and experience, using the world around us as a classroom. Writing has been my passion since the age of eight, when I wrote my first book, The Adventures of Sunshine Gander. That early love for storytelling grew into a lifelong journey of creating books, short stories, poems, and guides to inspire other writers and creators. With a degree in Journalism, I have dedicated much of my career to teaching. I’ve worked with elementary and middle school students, helping those reading and writing below grade level build their confidence and skills. Through schools and after-school programs, I’ve developed and hosted writing workshops to make writing accessible, fun, and empowering for young learners.
