Mastering Decimals Using Math U See Zeta (Full Curriculum for Grades 6, 7, or 8)

In this 18-week course, students will learn core operations with decimals, convert between fractions and decimals as well as other topics using digital manipulatives.

2-4 hours per week. Students will be given assignments to complete in the Math U See Student Workbook. Students can submit these assignments for Grading.

Class Experience

US Grade 7 - 10
This class is perfect for middle schoolers or upper elementary learners, whether homeschool, public school, or private school, who are looking for a full math curriculum or need help mastering decimals, percents, and fractions. 

This class will extend the learner's concept of place value to the right of the decimal point. Learners will complete core operations with decimals as well as convert between fractions and decimals.

The goal is to help remove the anxiety and fear of doing math so we move at the learners' pace. I use digital manipulatives to help students visualize the lesson I am teaching.

Students will engage in weekly live instructional classes, followed by independent practice.

Students will be given assignments in the Math U See Workbook.  
For parents who desire a grade, these assignments may be submitted the Outschool Classroom.
Optional assessments will be given throughout to help parents determine learner progress.

Parental Guidance
We will be using Google Forms to submit quizzes and Google Jamboard for students to write on during the lessons. Parents do not need to have a Google account to access these activities but it may be helpful. No additional accounts are needed to play Kahoot
