Students will learn to create a paragraph using a keyword summary approach.
I have been an educator for nearly 23 years. My teaching experience has been in many different learning environments such as preschool, the classroom, and one-on-one. I am certified as an Early Childhood Educator and Orton-Gillingham Therapeutic Tutor. I am a homeschool mom for the past 12 years to my three (now teenage) children. I have an extensive background in working with students of all levels, specifically children with learning disabilities. My 14-year-old daughter has dyslexia, so I bring a broad perspective not only as a teacher but as a parent. My passion is to work with all students and help facilitate them in their learning.
Homework Offered
Each week, students will be expected to complete their paragraphs and use the checklist provided to ensure they include all the necessary requirements.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Class observation. Marking of the completed paragraph using the checklist provided.Grades Offered
Printouts will be forwarded prior to class via email.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
