I create engaging presentations on slides. I start each class with a warmup. Then, I go over vocabulary and concepts that will be necessary to know prior to the lesson. When I teach the lesson, I use the “I do,” “we do,” “you do” method, as this allows the student to better understand the material piece by piece. The learners will be interacting with me throughout the lesson, as I will be checking for understanding often. My teaching approach is interactive and tailored to each student's learning style, ensuring concepts are clearly understood and connected to real-life applications. Learners can expect engaging lessons that encourage curiosity, active participation, and critical thinking. I create a supportive environment where students feel confident to explore, ask questions, and grow in their knowledge. Basic arithmetic skills such as, understanding the four math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) are essential for success in my course, as they provide the foundation for understanding more complex mathematical concepts. Mastery of these skills ensures that students can confidently engage with the material and progress smoothly through the lessons.
