In this individualized tutoring session, young learners will explore the fundamentals of math. Whether your child needs help mastering addition and subtraction within 20 or is ready to dive into telling time on an analog clock, this class provides the focused attention they need to succeed.

We can cover any of the following topics and more:
Counting and understanding number sense
Addition and subtraction within 10 and 20
Understanding even and odd numbers
Telling time using an analog clock
Basic geometry and shapes
Counting, adding, and subtracting money
Solving word problems using different strategies
Skip counting by 2s, 3s, 5s, and beyond

24 hours in advance of your session, you will need to provide the tutor with your learner's current mathematical background and any homework or  specific areas of focus, ensuring that the instruction is tailored to meet your learner's unique needs. 

With a focus on building a strong mathematical foundation, this class will help your child develop confidence and mastery in early elementary math.

Parental Guidance
Learners are not required to have an account on Blooket in order to participate in this class. Game codes will be provided to learners prior to or at the beginning of each class. However, parents should review and agree with the Blooket terms of use prior to allowing children to participate in this class. Parental consent is required.
Supply List
- Paper and Pencil: To practice and complete math problems during each session.
- Manipulatives (optional): Items like counters, blocks, or coins can be useful for visualizing math concepts.
- Clock with Movable Hands: To practice telling time.
- Play Money: To practice counting, adding, and subtracting money.
