Marvelous Mammals of Florida: Predators

Come join the fun as we learn about some Marvelous Mammals!  Marvelous Mammals of Florida - Predators is part of a series of three classes covering some of the major mammals that call the state of Florida home.  The animals discussed in this course include Florida panther, Florida black bear, coyote, and bobcat. 

We will create a KWL chart and record what we already know (K) about these animals.  Then we will brainstorm and discuss some of the information we want to learn (W) about these animals and add this information to our chart.  New material will be presented via lecture and PowerPoint.  Students will be encouraged to ask questions and discuss the material as it is presented.  We will work together to add what we learned (L) to our KWL chart.

With this new information, students are encouraged to create a book about these Marvelous Mammals to share with their families and friends!
