Class Experience

US Grade 6 - 9
In this course, we will draw a different marine animal each week. We will start with learning a little bit about our subject after which I will teach learners how to pick a good picture or drawing to use as a reference, how to break the subject down into simple shapes, how to use different types of lines and textures to show its unique features, and finally, how to color it and add a background.

Learners will have access to our online community where they will be able to view upcoming classes and share their illustrations with other marine life illustrators. Some of the marine species we will be illustrating are:

1. Week of July 2, 2023: Dumbo Octopus
2. Week of July 9, 2023: Ocean Sunfish
