In this one time, class students will learn about Marine biology, scientist, turtles and will use process art to make their own turtle. Students will also briefly review the five senses and learn the definition of an observation.

Class Experience

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten
The format of this class is a lecture, discussion, and participation. The class will begin with each student introducing themselves, we will then move on to talking about scientists and learning the definition of a scientist. Through discussions, students will become a scientist and talk about their observations. We will then talk about and look at images of other marine life and discuss what is a marine biologist. 
Students will watch a brief video about Turtle facts by Homeschool pop and during this time the video will be paused periodically to ask comprehensive questions. We will observe pictures, discuss different types of turtles, and learn new vocabulary words.  We will end our lesson by using process art to make our very own sea turtle.
