This afterschool club is focused on engaging students in everything Marine Biology. From ocean and animals facts, to why there are tides, the different ocean ecosystems, how the ocean influences weather, and actions we can take to keep the ocean and it's organisms. We'll start each meeting with a question for the day, a video or hands-on activity, followed by explanation and critical thinking about the topic. Classes will be built around student engagement, open-ended questions to promote understanding, and building an explorers mindset. Students only need to be interested in the ocean to participate!
