In this one time class we will create beautifully marbled notecards using shaving cream and food coloring.
Class experience
In this one-time class, we will transform ordinary paper into beautifully marbled notecards. We will be using card stock (or watercolor paper), shaving cream, and food coloring to create our masterpieces. Students don't need any previous knowledge to complete this craft. I will be completing each step with the students so that they can see each step while they are doing it. The students will let their notecards dry after class and then they will be able to use them. Students will learn the are of marbling paper.
shaving cream food coloring (any color you would like) ruler (We will be using this to scrape the paper after printing, so you can use something different if you don't have one.) Card stock or watercolor paper scissors stick/pencil/skewer/butter knife (your choice - for stirring shaving cream mixture)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
We will not be using scissors or any other sharp objects during this class.
