Welcome to Creation Station! In this class students will learn how to construct their very own marble maze. We will be using our creativity, imagination, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. I will share some tips and tricks and let the students take over the discussion to share their ideas or any new tips they learned along the way. They will design, build, and discuss their marble maze as we create it. This marble maze will be your very own so you can add any details you want! Do you want your marble maze to be themed dinosaurs, candy, Disney, or the jungle? For this class you will need a shallow box of any size (the bigger the box the longer it will take to finish creating), tape or glue (I prefer tape), paper, scissors, a marble, and coloring tools such as markers or crayons. You are welcome to bring any other craft items you would like to add to your maze. Outschool requires parental supervision during this class because we will be crafting with scissors and glue. There is no wrong way to create a marble maze! I cannot wait to see your ideas.
Learning Goals
The students will learn to use their imagination and creativity to create a working marble maze. Students will use critical thinking ideas a well as problem solving skills along the way.

Supply List
To create a marble maze please feel free to use craft materials at home. You will need the following items to create a marble maze. 1. 1 shallow box. If you still have the flaps please have an adult cut them off. 2. at least 1 marble or small ball. 3. construction paper, card stock, or copy paper of any colors you would like. 4. glue and/or tape (parent supervision needed) 5. scissors (parent supervision needed) 6. coloring tools incase you want to add color or designs 7. extra craft items you may want to add to the design of your marble maze

Hello! I am Barbara Parmann. I love teaching! I taught Kindergarten for 5 years, ESL online for a year, and this will be my 3rd year teaching Gifted and Talented Education for grades 3-6. I love fostering the love of learning in all children. Learning should be FUN! I love to teach early reading, English, and encourage creativity. I love going on adventures at home and on vacation.
