This is a 5 week FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE class. We will not meet live for this class but there is opportunity for interaction via a collaborate board in Nearpod, sharing materials, questions and comments in the classroom, and the ability to take a Kahoot Quiz together with other students of desired. Instructional videos prepared by and narrated by the teacher will be provided each Monday. Students will improve their understanding of maps; the elements that map up a map, how to read a map and the different types of maps. Students will learn about the regions of the United States and analyze goods maps for each region. Students will gain knowledge about each region of the United States, where each region is located and what makes each region unique.
Learners will need to check into the classroom each Monday for the materials for the week. Learners should check back into the classroom each Thursday to access the link for the Kahoot quiz. There will be printable PDF activity sheets each week and students will need a pen or pencil to complete them.

No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
