This is a one-time workshop with the following class structure: *Introduction: Learn to say "Hello" in Chinese and introduce one's name. *"I Love You" Story Read Aloud: We will learn to say "I Love you" in Chinese through a short story. *Chinese Character Trace & Write: 我爱你 (wǒ ài nǐ). Learners will use the Chinese writing worksheets to practice writing during class. *Card Making: Learners will write "我爱你" on the banner section of the pre-designed card template and color the card to complete their design. Learner experience: little to no background in Chinese is required. Prior to the meeting, learners will receive: - Digital files for two (one with and one without Chinese characters) print, fold, and cut 5x7 inches card templates to write and color. - Chinese Writing Worksheets

Students will learn to write and say "I Love You" in Chinese.

Supply List
Class print-outs will be shared prior to the start of the meeting in my Welcome Post. Please have all print-outs ready before class. *Card templates can be printed on a regular letter size paper. For best results, use heavy weight or stock paper to print. Materials needed for the meeting are: -Print-outs: Chinese writing worksheets and "Happy Valentine's Day我爱你"card templates. -A pencil to practice writing Chinese characters. -Color pencils or crayons for card making.
