It's almost summer time, and what better way to say summer than rainbow popsicles and summer-themed BINGO! We will begin class with introductions and brief discussion where students can share something they love about summer. Then, we will begin to get organized with our supplies/ingredients needed to make our easy no-bake rainbow popsicles. These popsicles will be vanilla pudding flavored with only colors used for a fun look. We will continue to work together to make our popsicles. Once we have completed them, they will need to freeze for 6 hours before eating. We will also have fun playing BINGO. Students will receive their bingo cards through message on Outschool before the start of class. If you do not have a printer, students can simply draw and color their own summer picture! Coloring pages will also be available upon enrollment for students to enjoy anytime! This class is a great way for socializing with friends while making a yummy, cold treat for summer! So, join me for some summer fun with a treat and BINGO!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Arkansas Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education
Master's Degree in Education from Arkansas State University
Hello! My name is Casey, and I have been an educator for 15 years, but I have over 20 years of experience working with children. Much of my experience is teaching Pre-K and Kindergarten skills, but I also have experience in higher grade levels and with children of all ages. I have a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education K-6. I also have a Graduate Certification in Dyslexia and a Masters degree in Reading. In addition, I have 7 years of experience teaching online ESL courses, and I have my TESOL certification.
I strive to incorporate fun into learning. My passion is teaching literacy and incorporating it into all content areas. I love animals and enjoy teaching children about them as well. I believe children can learn better when they can relate to the topic. When a child can correlate their interests to the subject, he or she will usually embrace learning. I firmly believe in differentiated learning. Songs, visual aids, hands-on activities, and kinesthetics are often incorporated into my lessons when best effective. Not every child learns in the same way and at the same pace, so I aim to meet each child where they are and provide instruction that matches their learning style. I encourage students to think, discuss, and share whenever possible. In my classroom, we can learn and have fun!
I have a variety of academic courses including early writing, reading, and math skills. While I love teaching academic courses, I also enjoy teaching fun courses over a variety of topics from dinosaurs and unicorns to social book clubs and solving murder mysteries! I have created classes that fits something for all ages. So, please check them out!
A little about me:
I am married with six children ages 22, 19, 16, 7, 4, and 3! They give me a lot of inspiration for my classes as well! I enjoy spending time with my family. We love to watch movies, play games, and take fun vacations. I also love to read and write. I hope to write and publish a children's book some day. My top adventure on my bucket list is to take a vacation aboard a passenger train and visit different places. I love animals and have two dogs and one cat at home. I enjoy watching documentaries about different animals, especially ocean life.
Thank you for taking time to read my profile. If you have any interests for a class, please feel free to share your ideas with me. I will do all I can to provide a lesson your child will enjoy while learning. Please request a certain time you would like available for a class, and I will strive to meet your request! I hope to see your child in my class soon!
Please note-
*Siblings discounts are always available! Please message when enrolling siblings in case I don't catch it. I want to make sure you receive those discounts!
*Transferring into another section-
In regard to transferring a student to another section, I will not be able to process a transfer request made within 24 hours of the original class start time. Doing this can lead to possibly not getting the spot filled and having to cancel class due to lack of enrollment. Also, if you receive a discount for a class section, I will not be able to transfer you to a new section using the same discount as the discount applies only to the original section the student was enrolled in. However, if the transfer is due to low enrollment or I need to cancel the class, I will happily give the same discount!
*Cancellations-
Limited - Full refund within 24 hours of purchase or up to a week in advance of the class.
