In this course we will make a sensory bin together and then pair my pre-made learning mats with our bins to learn a variety of foundational skills such as: SIZE SORTING and SHAPE BUILDING.

US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
Welcome! Sensory play is a great way to engage your child in learning without them even realizing it! Sensory bins help develop fine and gross motor skills, promote language development, math skills and encourage imaginative play! In this class, we will create a sensory bin using items found at home or at your local store/dollar store. Once we make our bins, we will pair the bins with my pre-made learning mats to learn about size and shapes. We will start off with a meet and greet. We will put together our sensory bins and then we'll use it paired with the SIZE SORTING and SHAPE BUILDING mats to learn more about size and shapes. We'll end our session with goodbyes!
Learning Goals
Students will be learn how to differentiate sizes, build and name different shapes.

Disclaimer: The sensory bins we will be putting together will contains loose and small parts that could be a choking hazard. Young children should closely supervised by an adult.
