Magical Unicorn and Mermaid Craft Time!
In this one time, 40 minute class students will share and bond over their favourite things about both mermaids and unicorns while creating 2 related crafts, a unicorn headband and paper bag mermaid!

Come share your love of mermaids and unicorns with me! As a class we will share our favourite facts, and which is our favourites the unicorn or the mermaid as well as discuss our favourite books and tv shows that contain these creatures! Additionally, we will focus on creating two crafts during our time together; unicorn headband and a paper bag mermaid! This class will be arts and crafts focused with the discussion, trivia and fun facts integrated throughout so that students are able to engage actively with both the instructor as well as other students while crafting.
Learning Goals
Throughout this class students will be able to communicate and interact with each other while discussing their love of unicorns and mermaids! Additionally, they will learn about and create a unicorn headband and paper bag mermaid. Most importantly, students will have fun while learning and sharing about both unicorns and mermaids!

Parental Guidance
Please note the use of scissors is encouraged to be completed with the assistance of an adult or when in direct supervision of of one. If you are unable to remain by your learner throughout the class and are uncomfortable with them using scissors please ensure any materials requiring cutting are completed in advance of the class.
Additionally, a template will be available for print prior to class for the mermaid headband, please ensure to print out for your learner if able!
Supply List
In order to participate students will require: 1. Unicorn headband printout 2. Brown paper bag 3. Paint, crayons or markers 4. Googlie eyes (optional) 5. Glue 6. Scissors 7. Construction paper 8. Anything else you'd like to use to decorate your crafts (ex. glitter, crayons, anything you'd like)
