Meeting once a week for 45 minutes, we will read 2 chapters each session and engage in hands-on projects and fun activities that focus on improving comprehension, fluency, and decoding skills. Teachers and students must purchase their own copies of "Dinosaur Before Dark" by Mary Pope Osborne.

Read aloud: Chapters 5 and 6
Discuss the plot and sequence of events
Activity: Create a timeline of the story’s events
Homework: Write or draw the next event in the story 45 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Dinosaur Exploration
Read aloud: Chapters 7 and 8
Learn about different dinosaurs mentioned in the book
Activity: Create dinosaur fact cards or a mini dinosaur encyclopedia
Homework: Choose your favorite dinosaur and write a fact about it 45 mins online live lesson
