This program is great for students familiar with positions for feet and arms, basic ballet steps, terminology and would like to further advance their skills. Ballet is great workout.

Class Experience

You are already familiar with the main ballet steps, positions for arms and feet. This class will be great for students who would like to continue advancing their dance skills. Combinations of the steps at the barre are going to be more complicated, more advanced center work and allegro part will be provided. If you do not have a ballet barre, you can use: waist height chair, any stable piece of furniture, the wall. Allegro part (jumps) is carefully introduced in order to avoid potential injuries. The tempo of the class is slow/moderate. 

Each class will start with warm-up and end with stretching and cool-down routines.

•	Plie: Demi-Plies, Grand-Plies (1st, 2nd, 3rd/5th, 4th positions)
•	Tendus: start in 1st, add 3rd (use various steps: double, pt/flex, passé par terre, soutenu
•	Tendu Degages
•	Ronds de Jambes par terre

•	Frappes
•	Developpes      
•	Petit Battement  
•	Practice sur la cou de pied
•	Grand Battement   
•	Releves/Eleves 
•	Introduce: arabesque, sous-sus, 
•	Epaulment
•	Port de bras (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th)
•	Saute in 1st, 2nd
•	Changement in 3rd
•	Echappe from 3rd, from 5th when ready
•	Pas de chat from 1st
•	Temps lie
•	Pirouette technique: spotting point, work on balance

Proper execution of every step will be explained and corrected by teacher. 

MY REFUND POLICY: I follow the Moderate Refund Policy. Once a month I can process a refund based on the special circumstances. I do offer dance classes which can be taken to make up for missed class: Character Dance, Floor Barre. There is an Outschool Happiness Guaranty program which families can address in certain cases.

The rules of the class: cell phones can not be used by students during the class.

For dance lessons student will need open, safe for movement space, ballet bar or chair to replace ballet bar What to wear: comfortable clothing; soft ballet shoes is the best choice, if it is not available - non slippery socks Water to stay hydrated
