In this 4 week crash course students will review how to complete the standard algorithm for long division.

Week 1Lesson 1Steps of Long Division with Single-digit DivisorsStudents will learn what the steps of long divison are and how to use a multiplication chart and their know-how to complete long division with a single-digit divisor (i.e. 40015/5).Week 2Lesson 2Single-digit Divisors with RemaindersStudents will learn what to do if the dividend will not divide evenly.Week 3Lesson 3Dividing DecimalsStudents will learn what to do if there are decimals in the division problem and what to do if there are remainder to convert the remainder into a decimal quotient.Week 4Lesson 4Double Digit DivisiorsStudents will learn how to divide when the problem contains a double-digit divisor (i.e. 43140/25).
- Students will refresh their recollection on the steps of the long division algorithm and will examine the procedure in specific circumstances.
