1 in-class hoursClass Experience
In this course I will display ten unique lizard species and teach the learners facts about them, such as their diet, habitat, behaviors, physiological features, and more. My class is structured in an interactive lecture format, so learners will be listening to me discuss these animals while also having many opportunities to interact with the teacher. For example, I will be asking questions to the learners throughout the class, and the learners will be able to ask me questions as well. I encourage participation and interaction from the learners, as I feel it helps them retain the knowledge easier if they enjoy the program.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi, I'm Safari Seth and I'm a zookeeper at Prehistoric World, an interactive reptile zoo where I work with over a hundred different species of reptiles and amphibians! I've worked with these animals almost my whole life and have traveled across the country teaching about wildlife to schools, libraries, and more. I will be teaching classes on wildlife, particularly reptiles and amphibians. I'll also be covering dinosaurs, a lifelong passion of mine, and how they relate to modern day animals! As a teacher for children I believe the key to learning is to be engaging - children and even adults only learn when they want to. Therefore, it is my goal to make learning fun and engaging so that they're not listening to a lecture, they're eagerly watching a presentation.
Fun Fact: When I was a kid one summer I watched Jurassic Park every morning for a whole summer. I have no regrets.
