📣 Calling all Animal Lovers! 📣

🦆🐣Come and join me in this fun, interactive, and learning-filled ongoing class with LIVE DUCKS with an elementary teacher! 🦆🐤🐣🐥

Each week, we will have a different science focus based on how our live ducklings have grown and changed. We will incorporate state science standards into each class and curriculum each week :) 🙌😍

This class is ongoing so your learner can join any week! 📅

UPCOMING CLASS WEEKLY SCHEDULE: This class will be coming to a close after March 30th! I will be switching this class to a one-time-only class to fit my new schedule/ work/ life balance.

🐣🦆❤️ Week 1: Intro to Ducklings (February 16th)

🦆 🐣🐥Week 2: Growth and Development (February 23)

😁 🐣🐥Week 3: Habitats (March 9th) 🏠🏡

NO CLASS (March 16 )

🐣🐷🐮 Week 4: Spring Baby Animals (March 30th)

⭐️⭐️⭐️ You can join this class any week! Although, we will discuss ducklings and growth each week in this class, we also review other animals, animal babies, habitats, and behaviors in the upcoming weeks! Your learner can stay enrolled in this class until these newborn ducks are fully grown egg layers. I also have games, outside walk arounds, and educational videos, and more to extend our in-class learning! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

🐥We will explore animal and duckling behaviors, growth, food, shelter, predator vs. prey, natural habitats, weather, farm animals, pets & so much more! 🐣🦆🐤

🗒 A few important things to note about my class 🗒

⭐️ I will mute all students when needed to minimize background noise. Please make sure your learner either knows how to mute/unmute.

⭐️ I gently encourage my students to raise their hand to signal that they have a question or want to share something with me or the class. I want to make sure every student gets a chance to be heard and share their thoughts while still maintaining a structured and calm classroom environment.

📚 Here is a breakdown of my class each week

Each class will begin with:
➡️ Greetings
➡️ Visiting with my ducklings
➡️ Discussing growth changes and schedules
➡️ Short lesson that follows state standards

I will incorporate songs and movement whenever possible to allow each learner to get their wiggles out! I also encourage social interactions in my classes and will gently encourage students to participate in our daily "Brain Break" times where students can share their answers to our discussion questions or answers.

Throughout our ongoing class, students will learn many state standards taught in Elementary School Science Class.

I am so excited to meet your learner in my class! Please let me know if you have any questions :)

Hello Parents,
My name is Teacher Allison Hogue (B.A. Science and Interdisciplinary Studies). 🎓👩‍🎓

My passion in life is teaching students. I have 11 years of teaching experience with my Bachelors degree in Science and Interdisciplinary Studies from Midwestern State University. I am also a Survival Swimming Specialist! 🏊‍♀️🏊🤿
____________________________________________ I love the whole child learning approach. Always taking into account learning styles, learning space and setting, as well as development processing for different age groups. It is important to know that each child cognitively learns at his/her own pace. Students even develop social skills differently as well. 😍❤️
____________________________________________
I pride myself in taking the time acknowledge each of these points in each lesson that I teach. As a public school teacher, private school teacher, homeschool mom, online ESL teacher, and mom of adopted children, I know the value of each child’s own individual learning journey and how important it is to honor that journey. 🙌❤️🤩😍
____________________________________________
I am a small business owner and have personally taught and trained aquatic survival swim training to hundreds of families. I have taught in the public school system for 3 years as a 1 & 2nd-grade teacher (all subjects). I have 4 years of online ESL teaching experience on multiple online platforms. I have a TOESL certification for ESL. I have extensive training in Special Education. I have extensive training in aquatic survival. I have extensive science curriculum research and study in science on oceans, water, and the human body.
___________________________________________

I am the owner and Survival Swim Specialist for Pediatric Survival Swim in Bradenton, Fl. My small business has taught hundreds of children how to survive in aquatic situations. I am now taking my knowledge, training, and proven researched methods to the online platform to better serve and educate students on the importance of water safety and survival training.
___________________________________________
I love teaching and I love children. I love animals and have quite a few live animals that I love to bring in as special guests to liven up the room. I enjoy making learning fun and engaging for each student while honoring each, individual child's learning style. I have experience working with a wide range of students in age and range in class size. I hope to see your learner in class soon!
