Up, up, and away we go! Pack your bags, and get ready for another amazing hot air balloon adventure. If your child loves animals and adventure, this is the class for them! Each week, for seven weeks, we will visit one of the seven continents and learn about animals that live there. Students will be led through a slideshow presentation where they will feel like they are taking a hot air balloon ride to a new continent each week. Students will learn the location of the continent so that they are able to identify it. We will learn fun facts about different animals that live on each of the seven continents. Students will receive a handout each week to color during class. My classes are full of fun and movement to help your children stay engaged and retain what they are learning. y classes are also very interactive. I love when students ask questions and participate. :) I'm excited for our trip. No prior knowledge is needed for this class. Parents: If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to ask. Hello everyone. My name is Tyler, and I have been teaching for over 12 years. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. I taught preschool for many years, I homeschool my own children, and I have been teaching online for several years. I have a passion for learning as well as teaching. I am a very patient teacher. I want each child to know how special they are. When they have that confidence, they will succeed.
I have three daughters, and know that children learn best when they are having FUN. I like to keep my lessons fun and interactive. My favorite part of teaching is connecting with the students and watching them grow and learn over time. I want children to look forward to my classes and always feel comfortable. I am very upbeat and patient. I was a very shy child, and one of my daughters is the same. I want every child to feel comfortable, and never worry that I will put them on the spot.
One of my favorite things to do, when I am not teaching, is to travel. I love traveling all over the world and immersing myself in different cultures. That is why geography is my favorite subject to teach. My classes are full of fun, movement, and adventure. I try to always make it an adventure so that children are excited to learn. I love to learn, and continue to educate myself daily so that I can also educate others. My family and I are very active and love to be outside.
