Description

Class Experience

Students will get the rare opportunity to learn about a narrow topic of History, through the life of an author, while also strengthening their writing skills.
As a Historian and tour guid at the Louisa May Alcott Orchard House I am well versed on this topic.
Students will be expected to do light reading (no more than 20 pages a week) as well as complete a number of writing assignments geared around the central themes of the book.
I will provide all materials for this class through online links. However, I will also provide links and suggestions of films and other secondary sources that may be for purchase if you choose to.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
