Class Experience

**This is a Flex class.  There are no live classes.  Learners will receive one pre-recorded video with enrichment activities each week**
Are you looking for a fun, but academic summer camp for your little learner?  Does your little learner love dinosaurs?
In this flexible summer camp we will practice the following early learning skills and concepts with a fun dinosaur theme:
Early Literacy
Math
Fine Motor
Gross Motor

Week 2-Letters and Sight Words

Weekly Interactive Opportunities (optional):
Week 1- Share a picture or stuffed animal of your favorite dinosaur.  Tell us if they lived on the land, in the water, or in the air.
Week 2- Find something with your grown-up that starts with the letter sound of one of our target letters that we learned.
Week 3- Pick a color that we learned this week, and find a picture or something around your house that is that color.
Week 4-  Share your completed craft

All learners that sign up for camp will receive enrichment resources that they can complete with their grown-up to further their academic skills and learning.

Syllabus

4 Lessons
over 4 Weeks
Lesson 1:
Introduction and Early Literacy Concepts
 In this lesson learners will sing a dinosaur song, complete a question of the day graphing activity, sort dinosaurs (land, water, air), and listen to a read-aloud of the story Dinosaurs, Dinosaurs by Byron Barton. 
Lesson 2:
Letters and Sight Words
 In this lesson learners will complete a question of the day graphing activity, engage in dinosaur exercises, identify letters and sounds (Dd, Ss, Ee, Tt) with a fun dinosaur theme, and practice the sight words eat, see. 
Lesson 3:
Early Math Concepts
 In this lesson learners will complete a question of the day graphing activity, do dinosaur exercises, complete a dinosaur color sort activity, and complete dinosaur patterns. 
Lesson 4:
Wrap-up and Craft
 In this lesson learners will sing a dinosaur song, complete a question of the day graphing activity, engage in dinosaur exercises, and complete a dinosaur craft.
