Class Experience
Little Bankers: Be a Banker for a Day! (Ages 6-8) In this one time class, learners will get to be bankers for a day! We will explore what it is like to work in a bank. This class is a mix of Social Studies, Math, and Life Skills! Children will learn about one of the important community helpers and get a taste of Economics. We will learn answers to questions such as: * What do bank tellers do? * What is a vault? * What is counterfeit? * What is a bank account? We will have fun counting...
I spent 8 years working as a bank teller. This experience gives me an edge with teaching children about Economics because I have real-world experience on the value of learning about money, numbers, counting, etc.
