In these 1 on 1 lessons we will find what areas of growth that is needed to make progress in reading and spelling. The sessions will focus on individual growth needs. Using a sequential scope based off the science of reading.

Beginner Level
These sessions are based off the needs of the learner. There will be an informal quick assessment to know the growth areas. Once the growth area has been determined then the teaching will focus on that need. Letter sounds and names will be mastered first, followed by blending consonants and vowels (CV, CVC, CCVC, CVCC). To ensure effective tutoring, the teacher suggests meeting 2x per week. Book additional recurring meetings after the initial purchase.Students will improve in their letter sounds fluency as well as reading and spelling fluency. These are all components to become a more fluent reader and speller.
I have been in education for almost 20 years. I have taught literacy for 15 of those years including the majoirty of the last 4 years teaching using a sequential scope for teaching reading and spelling. I work with many diagnosed dyslexic students.
This class supports all learners and is helpful for those with Dyslexia.
