Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I am Teacher Jamie. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I love sharing and inspiring a love of learning. I have been working with students of all ages since 2007. Currently, I teach English online to students in China. In addition to teaching online, I am an aerialist and circus performer and instructor. I teach circus arts to students ages 6-60+. I love teaching and watching my students grow! Continuing my love of learning and movement, I have recently become a certified personal trainer, group fitness trainer, mat pilates and barre instructor.

I believe we are life long learners. I hope to encourage my learners by tailoring the material and teaching style to meet their needs. My classes are engaging, fun, and laid back. I believe a safe, non-judgmental online classroom encourages learning, increases participation, and builds community among students.

I have a 2 dogs and a cat, who will occasionally make a guest appearance in class, but are not disruptive. I love baking, painting, wood-working, and spending time outside with my dogs. I live near the beach so enjoy outdoor activities on the water like paddle boarding. My hair color changes quite often - pink, blue, purple!

I look forward to teaching your student movement classes, DIY projects, preschool and elementary skills. I can't wait to see you in class!
