Learn English with me! I am an experienced and certified primary/elementary teacher with a degree in Second Language Education. During my undergraduate degree, I learned practical lessons in TESOL by volunteering to teach adult refugees English. After I graduated, I worked in Japan teaching English in high schools for two years before returning to New Zealand and getting a Master of Teaching (Primary). I have taught children aged 5-13-years-old in multicultural classrooms for 7+ years. Many of my students are ESL learners who I love to teach!
All my life I have loved art. When I became a teacher, I enjoyed finding ways to bring art into different subjects such as literacy and mathematics. Also, I have been a passionate Arts Curriculum Leader and enjoy helping other teachers extend their teaching skills in this area.
