Week 3: Into the West 
Week 4: Traveling Abroad 
Week 5: Going Places by Car/Plane/Train
Week 6: Ancient Civilization

At the beginning of our class, we will introduce ourselves, sing a song or play a short game. After introductions, I will share our topic and vocabulary word(s) for the day. We will always listen and sing a short song related to the topic before we learn new words or phrases. Following the song, we will use the vocabulary and phrases to have short conversations. I will use word cards, toys, props and more to ensure that our conversations are successful. 

My teaching style is upbeat, patient and encouraging. I enjoy seeing the look in my student's eyes as they begin to understand the meaning of new English words and learn to speak in complete sentences. I will focus on pronunciation, letter sounds and blending, which are foundational steps to learning to speak and read in English. Depending on the age and skill level of the student, reading in English may be incorporated. 

Learners will interact with me and their peers for the entire lesson, through conversations, playing interactive games, singing and sharing.
