Welcome to Lights, Camera, Draw! Art Meet-Up. This unique class is designed to ignite our creativity and spark our imaginations. Students of all artistic levels are welcome -engaging in creative activities is an inherent and special part of the human experience. The learning environment for this class is relaxed and fun. Students will grow and develop their creative-problem solving skills through open-ended and imaginative drawing prompts generated by both teacher and students. Students will expand their drawing skills by being challenged to draw new things in a fun, relaxed, and encouraging environment. Students will have the opportunity to practice social skills through interactive, teacher-guided class format. Students will get to make new friends through creating art!
I am a fully certified art teacher through the state of Wisconsin and have more than 10 years of teaching experience in a variety of settings including public school, Waldorf education, Montessori classrooms, art museums and galleries, and summer camps.
Drawing tools of your choice (pencil, markers, crayons, colored pencils, or your favorite pen) Sketchbook or paper of any kind
