Description
Class Experience
This class will guide students through understanding, examples, and related activities how to practice virtues (purity) in daily life in interactions with their family, friends, classmates, and teachers. Discussions include importance of physical cleanliness (clothes, personal belongings, living and working space being free of dirt, dust, germs, etc.) and good personal hygiene (taking showers, brushing teeth, eating healthy foods), use of respectful language and avoiding unhealthy behaviors (aggression, bullying, etc.), and practicing truthfulness and integrity in daily interactions with others.
I have over 15 years of experience teaching virtues and other subjects at children’s classes and summer and winter camps as well as public school.
The learners can express their understanding of the lesson through the arts such as drawing, songs, or poetry; this is highly encouraged, however, it is not mandatory.
The students' progress will be assessed by group activities such as games, discussions, and drawing related to the virtue of cleanliness.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
