Learners are encouraged to continue to explore their best qualities and being their best selves!Class Experience
In this class learners will discover/discuss all the awesome things that make them unique and special. Learning to love who you are is such a positive attribute that can take someone very far in life. The earlier one can master this ability, the better off they will be in situations that may challenge their self confidence. Being in an open setting with other learners can be very helpful with gaining confidence in oneself, especially in an atmosphere where the focus is on confidence and kindness toward others. This is a safe and fun space. During class, we will watch a video about a young learner who is confident in himself despite being bullied, and discuss how we can all do the same! There will be a question and answer segment based on the video. Students will be prompted to list qualities about themselves that they love and encouraged to strengthen those qualities. For example, if the learner loves that they can sing well, draw well, have a kind heart, etc, they can write out/highlight these qualities. Taking note 📝 of these qualities and discussing them in detail is a great way to promote a habit of selves love & confidence. We will also discuss how to overcome bullying or situations that can threaten our self confidence or sense of self worth. Hope to see you soon! ❤️
Learning Goals
Students will improve their ability to express themselves, gain confidence in being the best version of themselves, and learn that what matters most is what they think of themselves.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello!
My name is Danyelle, and I love to teach and interact with people. I am very excited to meet you. I received a Bachelors degree in English with a minor in History. I have always taught in some capacity, whether it meant leading in organizations at school, singing groups, church classes, Assistant teaching, or creating tutorials online. I have also done mediation and counseling amongst my peers. I have a passion for healing and wholeness for all individuals. I genuinely love to see people happy and fulfilled.
Teaching online has brought me so much joy. I feel a great sense of purpose each time I engage with my wonderful students. There is nothing like the feeling of witnessing someone learn a new concept, express their feelings about the class, overcome a hurdle, or simply have fun while learning.
Outside of academics, I absolutely love to sing. I have sung my entire life, in school, at church, at weddings, and during online classes. I've noticed that many students respond well when music is involved. Along with music, I love health & fitness, some "drama" or acting, photography/videography, reading, writing, and personal development. All of these things are very important or enjoyable aspects to life, and I believe that incorporating them in the classroom will greatly benefit the learner. I am very excited to offer classes that will promote healthy, happy, and well rounded individuals.
I've learned that each student is different, and will flourish when someone takes the time to give them what they need. I truly try to teach with "purpose and passion" because that is what I enjoyed/enjoy as a student. My hope is that students leave my class feeling more confident and comfortable in themselves and their ability to learn and "be" in this world.

I hope to see you in the classroom soon ❤️
