Some of my expertise comes from personal experience while other comes from professional experience. I was born to be a teacher and truly believe I excel in providing safe, engaging classes for all learners. I also believe communication plays an integral part in the success of any teacher. Please do not hesitate to reach out via the outschool platform for any questions or concerns.

I have taught elementary classes in the public school system for several years. I also hold a Masters of Science with an emphasis in general Psychology. All of my professional life has been spent working with children and education in one way or another.

While obtaining my Masters of Science degree, I became quite the researcher. My thesis was on isolation in an online learning environment and how to foster a sense of community within group courses. I have also done an immense amount of research on children and their learning styles. My classes are structured in a way that allows students with any learning style to benefit. For instance, in all of my classes there is a physical aspect for the kinesthetic learners. I always use presentations or books with bright, fun colors for those visual learners, and I use song and rhyme for the auditory learners.
