Class experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 2
Students will improve their reading comprehension skills.
Students will be able to summarize a story that was read to them.
Students will be able to tell a friend about a book.
Students will be able to make predictions.
When I was teaching in Kindergarten I would read stories, ask questions and provide activities for my students. I have also filled in for the librarian when she couldn't teach the adapted library class.
Homework Offered
Depending on if students choose to do their book activity while on zoom or on their own they may need to finish on their own time or do the activity on their own. If students want to do more than one activity they may.
Assessments Offered
Students will be asked questions throughout the class.
Grades Offered
colored pencils/crayons/markers
scissors
glue sticks

Students may need supervision with the activity when using basic art supplies. Such as scissors and glue. I will go over how to properly use them if they are needed for an activity.
