Class Experience

Part of Outschool Online Pride. MORE DETAILS OF OOP CAN BE FOUND HERE: http://oopfestival.blogspot.com/
Come join Ms. Molly for an hour of LGBTQ+ trivia! We will use Kahoot! to answer questions covering (mostly U.S.-based) LGBTQ+ social and political history and current events. Each question will be followed by brief commentary by the teacher with a break between sections for questions and comments from learners. This is a friendly competition in a safe space. Come show everyone what you know and learn new information!

Other Details

Parental Guidance
The questions will cover various aspects of LGBTQ+ culture, including the AIDS epidemic. We will not be addressing any single topic in depth in the interests of keeping the game moving.

I have 20+ years lived experience as an activist and member of the LGBTQ+ community. I've volunteered for several LGBTQ+ organizations in my city over the past decade and a half and attended protests and marches. I have been to a number of trainings on providing safe space for marginalized populations. I've been a foster parent/mentor for LGBTQ+ youth as well as teaching and supporting said youth in public and private school settings.
