Homework
1 hour per week. Each week students will be assigned the task of completing a main lesson book entry started during the lesson before the next class. They will receive prompts to complete this work. Each task should take students approximately 30 minutes to complete.Class Experience
Hello and Bonjour! No prior knowledge is required to join my class. I will be speaking in both english and french, I am a fully bilingual french native speaker. Students will leave the class having learned specific vocabulary words on a theme chosen for each lesson. I will also be using some simple sentences using said vocabulary. We will greet each other in French (Bonjour, allo, salut etc.) at the beginning of each lesson. My goal is for students to feel comfortable enough to try, make mistakes and learn from them. There is ample time to practice and discuss during the class. I utilise a main lesson book entry including the students artwork. Part of the class will be dedicated to illustrating the vocabulary learnt during class. This helps to solidify their understanding and retention of the topics covered. Please see the 'Homework' tab below for more information. A handout will also be provided detailing what was covered during class.
