US Grade 2 - 5
Learning to love writing can happen in many different ways. In this class, young writers will be allowed to explore the freedom of poetry in order to encourage them on their writing journey. We will begin our class by reading a few poems and discussing what we like about certain poetic devices such as rhyme and word sounds. Then each student will be guided through creative prompts to write a poem or two about things they really love. All that is necessary is a pencil and some paper! No homework, no requirements, no limits...just some fun with writing!
