Description

Class Experience

Students will demonstrate active listening, participate and contribute to a conversation by staying on topic for 4 minutes.
Each week practice the targeted skill with a family member or friend. Be observant of how others converse (children vs. adults) and take note of some of the conversational elements that you observed and didn't observe.
 1 file available upon enrollment
pencil and paper if they want to write or draw their ideas (optional)

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Week1: Will be sharing ideas and tips about having a conversation (conversational 
             support)
Week 2: Will use a social story conversation starter with pictures and words as an example of what kinds of questions can be asked when initiating a conversation.
