Conflict resolution is a key skills for kids to learn. It can help them in their lives at school and at home. This class will focus on teaching students how to resolve conflict by using their words to diffuse a situation. Teaching proper conflict resolution skills can help children develop healthy relationships and improve emotional intelligence. This class will look at different strategies we can use to solve issues that arise between friends, teammates, and siblings. We'll talk about how to approach a disagreement with empathy. The first week of class will focus on how to stay calm, how to be kind, and how we can better understand others. Week two will be about how to compromise, how to work with others, and we'll finish class by looking at some examples together. All at an age appropriate level!
