During the Fall season, you may see some animals more than others. This could be due to cooler weather or the fact that they are preparing for winter. Some animals that we will be discussing are: squirrels, foxes, mice, owls, and hedgehogs. We will take a closer look at these animals by viewing a short video clip to see them in action, and discussing fun facts about them. Everyone will have a turn to share their opinions or stories about these animals, and ask questions. Afterwards, we can all have fun following simple step by step directions to create your own furry fall animal. I hope to meet you in class soon!

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been teaching for the last 27 years in a variety of settings. I have worked with children 3 to 12 years of age. I have created curriculum for 3-6 year old's, tutored, been a nanny, an assistant director, assistant teacher for early learners in the school district, and taught English (ESL) online. I have a BA in Early Childhood Education and a BA in Psychology. I love to find creative ways for children to learn and have fun! I believe children learn best through a variety of means including: repetition, writing, movement, creativity, socialization, fun, and a positive attitude. If I do not know the answer to a child's question, I will research it and let them know. Knowledge is a powerful tool that can create a spark for future learning and life adventures. I can not wait to have fun teaching and learning from your little ones! See you in the classroom!
