Bonjour! This is a continuation from the level 4 “Let’s Speak French!” Let’s continue to learn and practice French together! In this 6-week course, we will travel to Bordeaux and learn more about French culture!

Bonjour! 

Let’s continue to learn French together with my level 5. You can join if you have already completed level 1 to 4 with me. If not please reach out to me to assess together if suitable for you child. Children who have attended multiple beginner classes in the past are welcome.

In this Multi-Day course, we will meet for 45 minutes each week for 6 weeks. 

Assessment and measuring progress: 
•	In level 5, we will continue with a weekly task to complete during the week for me to feedback on and check progress.
•       A project work will also need to be submitted at the end of the 6 weeks. 
•	In completion of all homework and attendance to the classes, a certificate will be delivered confirming meeting the level 4/elementary requirements.

Week 1: 
•	Introducing each other and interacting (Greetings) - building from what we learned in previous levels
•	French culture: geography, landscape etc...

Week 2: 
•      Regional specialties of French cuisine
•      Bordeaux city. Where is it? (Location, geography, key facts)	

Week 3: 
•	Discover Bordeaux part 1
•	Shopping for food 

Week 4: 
•	Discover Bordeaux part 2
•	Shopping 

Week 5: 
•	Shopping and cooking 
•	Summary of key learnings

Week 6: 
•	Practice what we learned and present. Project. 

Weekly classes will include:
-	Learn vocabulary and build memory
-	Pronunciation
-	Use prepositions
-	Use pronouns
-	Start bringing nuances to sentences
-	Grammar and verbs 

I am a native French speaker.  As a multilingual individual I understand the steps and roadblocks when learning a foreign language and I have developed methods on making the learning journey more motivational and effective. 

Note: the content might be slightly adapted based on the students' learning development. 
The class requires a minimum of 2 learners.

Learning Goals
Students will learn about a French city and learn new vocabulary and grammar to take them to the next level of their French learning journey. In this level, a project work is introduced for students to practice what they learned in class and show their creativity.
