In this one-time class, we will learn about the weekly Jewish holiday of Shabbat through story, song, instrument play & creative movement. We will learn about what some families do on Shabbat. Learners of any background are welcome in this class. Please gather up any instruments you have around the home (bells, shakers, drums, etc). Songs we will sing: Bim Bom, Chicken Soup, There's a Dinosaur Knocking on My Door We will read a story each week. This class will be taught from a secular and educational perspective in keeping with Outschool's policies.
Other Details
Supply List
Any percussion instruments (bells, shakers, drum) & creative props such as scarves, balls & hoops. You do not need to have all of these items as I will always suggest different ways to do an activity.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I could tell you about my qualifications, but that alone won't tell you who I am. I have a MMus. in Violin Performance, B.Mus. in Violin Performance, and BA in French. I have been teaching for over 30 years and thankfully still love it!
I currently offer violin, viola, piano, French, and Hebrew classes.
