Students will learn about the elements of a good story by reading and discussing The Princess in Black. Students will practice vocabulary words from the book. Students will answer comprehension questions and discussion questions about the book in class. Students will learn the parts of a good story: character, setting, problem, and solution.

Students will need to read the book before class or parents can read the book to their child. Students will also need to bring paper, a pencil, and crayons or markers to class along with a printed copy of the attached PDF I will send you upon enrollment.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
